Welcome to Diehard 4 RAW: The 1st Philippine Real Action Wargame!

Throughout the day, competing teams will vie for the honor and privileged of being named the first champion of RAW. But even as they compete, there will be blurring of the lines and fading of borders. No longer will they be known as Airsoft, Paintball or SWAT, for on this day they will be called Real Action Warriors.

It will be a battle of skill and tactics, a thinking man’s game. Here individual prowess will be set aside for the glory of the team. And in this realistic setting, only the Real Action Marker, the newest and most realistic replica rifle in the country, has the edge in taking the game and the training to a higher level.

So be there tomorrow as these teams collide in friendly competition. Because in the end, there can be only One!

Makati City police training exercises go high-tech

Makati City’s officers from its elite assault and tactical operations team staged an anti-terrorist training exercise Tuesday using training guns used by the United States military and police personnel.

With Makati police chief Superintendent Gilbert Cruz and other officials playing terrorists, commandos of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) and other units of the Makati police tested the guns, which are designed to help police and soldiers sharpen their skills without getting anybody killed.
